Parks & Pools

West Riding is conveniently located to several parks and pools. Here are a few within easy walking or driving distance.

Parks

 

Diamond Farms Park

Diamond Farms Park – City Park

This park is located off Quince Orchard Boulevard at the entrance to West Riding. Park amenities include a playground, three tennis courts, a full-size basketball court, and volleyball court.

Black Hill Regional Park

Black Hill Regional Park – County Park

This park is located off Old Baltimore Road in Boyds. Amenities include a lake for boating and fishing, picnic areas, playgrounds, and hiking trails. Dogs are allowed in this park and there is no entrance fee.

Seneca Creek State Park

Seneca Creek State Park – State Park

This park is located off Clopper Road in Gaithersburg . Amenities include a lake for boating and fishing, picnic areas, playgrounds, Frisbee Golf, and hiking trails. Dogs are not allowed in this park and there is a small entrance fee between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In addition, the City of Gaithersburg runs a nighttime show called Winter Lights in this park during the month of December.

Diamond Farms Pool

Diamond Farms Pool – Community Pool

This pool is located off Quince Orchard Boulevard and is maintained by Diamond Farms Townhomes. It is open seven days a week and features a diving well, baby pool, and swim team.

Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club

Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis Club – Private Club

This pool is located off Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg. It is open seven days a week and features a diving well, baby pool, heated water, snack bar, and swim team.

Bohrer Park

Water Park at Bohrer Park – City Pool

This pool is located off Route 355 in Gaithersburg. It is open seven days a week and features a baby pool, double water slides, children's splash pool, snack bar, and playground.
